Description.

The disposal hypodermic syringe, a plastic version of its glass predecessor, is a type of syringe consisting of a hollow cylinder, usually of glass or plastic, a tightly fitting piston, and a hollow needle (hypodermic needle), used for withdrawing blood samples and/ or injecting medicine (or vaccines). It was designed to eliminate the high risk of passing infection from one patient to the next in both humans and to enable more effective vaccination for patients.
